Cast acrylic sheets are a premium type of acrylic made by pouring liquid acrylic into molds, allowing it to cure slowly. This process results in a material with exceptional optical clarity, superior strength, and excellent weather resistance.
Here’s what makes cast acrylic stand out:
- High light transmission – up to 92%, making it ideal for displays, aquariums, and glazing
- Greater thickness options – often available in sizes from 3mm up to 50mm or more
- Excellent chemical and UV resistance – suitable for both indoor and outdoor use
- Superior machining and thermoforming – it cuts cleaner and bends more precisely than extruded acrylic
